dedicated management team.
Gerry Burns
President & Chief Executive Officer
Over the past 3 years with Data2Logistics Mr. Burns has invested heavily in
client service, relations and technology resulting in a larger portfolio of
services for its partners and extending Data2Logistics lead as the global leader
for Transportation and Logistics Consulting and Audit Services. Before joining
Data2Logistics Gerry served as CEO of USRobotics, another Platinum Equity
portfolio company. Prior to that appointment Mr. Burns spent the previous 5
years as Vice President of Technology for Platinum Equity. His roles within
Platinum included M&A&O (Mergers, Acquisition, Operations) operational and
technology diligence and transitions throughout North America and EMEA. Mr.
Burns also assumed interim executive management positions within newly acquired
Platinum companies as needed. Prior to joining Platinum Equity he spent many
years in the high tech industry at Lucent Technologies, Ascend Communications
and Stratus Computer in various managerial and engineering capacities. Mr. Burns
received a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
Harold B. Friedman
Senior Vice President Global Corporate Development
Harold has over 38 years of experience in the freight business. Before joining
Data2Logistics, Harold was the Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing for
CorPay Solutions, and a principal of CTI Logistics. He served as President of
Chase Trans-Info and was previously employed by Chase Manhattan Bank as a
Divisional Controller. He holds a BA degree in Accounting from Pace University;
attended the Wharton School of Continuing Studies; and graduated with honors
from the U.S. Army Transportation School.
Harold is a preeminent keynote speaker
at supply chain conferences.
Brian Gosselin
Chief Operations Officer
Brian’s responsibilities include managing the Data2Logistics Client Relations
Management, Global Solutions and Implementations, and Training departments. Most
recently, Brian was COO for USRobotics, leading the Engineering, Supply Chain,
Customer Support and Information Technology groups. Prior to joining US
Robotics, he served as Senior Vice President for Insyde Software and was
responsible for running the day-to-day operations of the company’s server and
embedded business including Sales, Engineering, Project Management and Customer
Account Management.
Larry Reed
Chief Technology Officer
As Chief Technology Officer, Larry provides direction and leadership for all
Software Development, Professional Services, Data Warehousing, EDI, Systems
Operations and IT Infrastructure. Prior to joining Data2Logistics, Larry led
Field Services for security focused companies including Vericept Corporation and
Intrusic Inc. Larry has also led Software and Systems Engineering endeavors in
such preeminent organizations as Stratus Technologies and John Hancock Financial
Services.
