Data2Logistics management includes executives with experience in logistics, finance and freight payment. We have some of the best people in the industry, led by a highly experienced management team.

Gerry Burns
President & Chief Executive Officer
Before joining Data2Logistics Gerry most recently served as CEO of USRobotics, another Platinum Equity portfolio company. Prior to that appointment Mr. Burns spent the previous 5 years as Vice President of Technology for Platinum Equity. His roles within Platinum included M&A&O (Mergers, Acquisition, Operations) operational and technology diligence and transitions throughout North America and EMEA. In this capacity his primary focus was in R&D, IT, and Intellectual Property. Mr. Burns also assumed interim executive management positions within newly acquired Platinum companies as needed. Prior to joining Platinum Equity he spent many years in the computer industry at Lucent Technologies, Ascend Communications and Stratus Computer in various managerial and engineering capacities. Mr. Burns received a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.

Harold B. Friedman
Senior Vice President Global Corporate Development
Harold has over 38 years of experience in the freight business. Before joining Data2Logistics, Harold was the Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing for CorPay Solutions, and a principal of CTI Logistics. He served as President of Chase Trans-Info and was previously employed by Chase Manhattan Bank as a Divisional Controller. He holds a BA degree in Accounting from Pace University; attended the Wharton School of Continuing Studies; and graduated with honors from the U.S. Army Transportation School.

John Hartley
Vice President Operations
John is responsible for the operations for all the US Data2Logistics facilities. He holds a BS degree in Management from the University of Phoenix, and has 19 years of experience in the freight payment business. He joined our organization as a temporary employee in 1988 while continuing his education. He worked in a variety of other capacities, which enabled him to gain a thorough understanding of all aspects of our business. John became the General Manager of the Fort Myers site in 1998. In 2004 he was appointed Vice President of Operations. John is a Six Sigma certified Green Belt.

Richard MacGonigle
Director Customer Service
Prior to joining Data2Logistics, Rich spent 27 years with General Electric in their Plastics business. A science and math major with a degree in Biology, he held positions as Manufacturing Coordinator, Senior Customer Service Rep, Materials and Logistics Manager and Process Leader. He has extensive experience in Six Sigma and spent the last seven years leading DFSS (Design for Six Sigma) and DMAIC projects, focusing on quality, process improvement and productivity.
